The Kaiwara Betta Trek, also known as Bheemalingeshwara Betta, is a scenic and spiritual trek near Bangalore, located in Kaiwara, Chikkaballapur district (about 70 km from Bangalore and 35 km from Chikkaballapur town). This short yet rewarding trek is a great choice for beginners, families, and trekkers looking for a peaceful weekend escape close to nature. Rising to an altitude of around 2,940 ft, the trek is relatively easy, covering about 3-4 km (to and fro) and can be completed in 2-3 hours. The trail includes rock-cut steps, small caves, and rugged patches, leading up to the Bheemalingeshwara Temple at the summit.
