Overview
Uttari Betta, a hill fort located approximately 70 km from Bangalore, offers more than just a trek. Its a journey through history, with seven ancient fort gateways leading the way to the top. The trail is an exciting mix of rocky paths, lush grasslands, and steps, keeping the trek engaging from start to finish. The main highlight, however, is the breathtaking sunrise. Watching the first golden rays of the sun paint the sky with vibrant colors from an altitude of 1,142 meters is an experience that will stay with you forever. The panoramic view of the rolling hills and surrounding landscapes from the peak is a reward in itself.

Departure from Bangalore
Travel from Bangalore to Uttari Betta
- •Depart from Bangalore late in the evening in a comfortable private Non A/c vehicle, with convenient pickup points across the city
- •11:30 PM: Pick up from Banashankari (Banashankari Bus Stand)
- •11:45 PM: Pick up from BTM Layout (A2B Restaurant)
- •12:00 AM: Pick up from Silk Board ( Bus Stop, Opp. Pizza Hut)
- •12:30 AM: Pick up from Marathahalli (Opposite to Kalamandir)
- •1:00 AM: Pick up from Hebbal (Hebbal Flyover)
- •1:30 AM: Pick up from Goraguntepalya (Goraguntepalya Metro Station)

Day 1: The Trek to Uttari Betta Trek and Sunrise
Enjoy a beautiful sunrise during your trek, watching the hills and valleys light up with the morning sun.
- •4:00 AM: Reach the trek base. Your trek leader will conduct a quick briefing, providing instructions and ensuring everyone is ready
- •4:30 AM: Start the exciting night trek under the starlit sky. The cool night air makes the ascent pleasant and invigorating
- •5:30 AM: Conquer the rocky trail and reach the peak. Take a moment to catch your breath and prepare for the main event
- •6:15 AM: Witness the magical sunrise. This is the perfect moment for photography and to soak in the stunning views.
- •7:30 AM: Start the descent back to the base, with a renewed energy from the morning's spectacle.
- •9:15 AM: Reach the base point, filled with memories and a sense of accomplishment.
- •10:30 AM: Enjoy a delicious and hearty breakfast on the way back to Bangalore.
- •11:30 PM: Arrive back in Bangalore, with drop-off points being the same as the pickup locations.

Participant Cancellation Policy
- 100% Refund: Cancellations 30+ days before departure (excluding convenience/transaction fees).
- 50% Refund: Cancellations 15-29 days before departure.
- No Refund, Future Credit, or Transfer: Cancellations 14 days or less before departure.
goChaarana Cancellation Policy
- If goChaarana cancels a trek due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances, participants will receive a 100% refund or the option to reschedule to another trek of their choice.
Rescheduling Option
- You can reschedule your booking to a future trek without any additional cost, subject to availability. This option is available if you request the change at least three days before your original trek date.
Important Notes
- Refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days.
- Trek fees are non-transferable to another participant.
- No refund will be provided for a no-show or dropping out mid-trek.
