The Kumara Parvatha Trek, also called the Pushpagiri Trek, is one of the most popular and toughest treks in Karnataka. Nestled in the Western Ghats near Kukke Subramanya, this thrilling journey covers about 22 km and takes you to the second-highest peak in Coorg at 1,712 meters. Known as the “King of Karnataka Treks”, it offers a perfect mix of adventure, spirituality, and breathtaking views of the Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary. Trekkers pass through forest trails, meadows, and landmarks like Bhattara Mane, Kallu Mantapa, and Shesha Parvatha before reaching the summit. This trek is graded moderate to difficult, making it suitable for fit and experienced trekkers. From the top, trekkers are rewarded with panoramic views of the Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary and the endless misty hills of the Western Ghats.
