Kabbalu Durga Trek – A Hidden Gem for Adventure Seekers
The Kabbalu Durga Trek offers a perfect mix of adventure, serenity, and heritage just ~80 km from Bangalore. This offbeat trek takes you to a historic hilltop fort with stunning panoramic views and thrilling rocky trails. Ideal for weekend warriors, this moderately challenging trek rewards you with peaceful surroundings and a lesser-known piece of Karnataka’s history.
- •The journey starts from Bengaluru to Kabbalu. You will travel in comfortable, private non-AC transportation at 6:00 AM, with convenient pick-up points throughout the city
- •Once everyone is on board, the trek leads will make you participate in some activities. The fun sessions involve Small icebreaker sessions to get to know your fellow travellers.
- •Head to the nearby restaurant and enjoy a delicious breakfast.
- •Reach the base camp, you will receive a briefing about the Kabbaladurga trek and participate in a short warm-up session
- •Start trekking to Kabbaladurga Hills
- •Take a break halfway through your journey to relax and enjoy the surrounding view
- •Reach the Kabbaladurga sunrise point. Explore the peak and enjoy the beautiful sunrise and explore the caves
- •After soaking in the views and capturing some photos, start your descending.
- •Reach base camp and head to the nearest restaurant to freshen up and enjoy lunch(self-sponsored)
- •Start your return journey to Bengaluru. You will arrive in Bangalore around ~4 PM, bringing along a bag full of memories.

Participant Cancellation Policy
- 100% Refund: Cancellations 30+ days before departure (excluding convenience/transaction fees).
- 50% Refund: Cancellations 15-29 days before departure.
- No Refund, Future Credit, or Transfer: Cancellations 14 days or less before departure.
goChaarana Cancellation Policy
- If goChaarana cancels a trek due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances, participants will receive a 100% refund or the option to reschedule to another trek of their choice.
Rescheduling Option
- You can reschedule your booking to a future trek without any additional cost, subject to availability. This option is available if you request the change at least three days before your original trek date.
Important Notes
- Refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days.
- Trek fees are non-transferable to another participant.
- No refund will be provided for a no-show or dropping out mid-trek.
