Gudibande Fort, located in the Chikkaballapur district of Karnataka, around 90 kilometers from Bengaluru, is a hidden gem that offers a perfect blend of history, nature, and light adventure. Built in the 17th century by Byre Gowda, a local chieftain known for his strategic prowess, the fort showcases impressive architecture with seven levels, secret tunnels, and ancient rainwater harvesting systems. The trek to the top involves around 450–500 steps, making it ideal for beginners and casual trekkers. Along the way, trekkers are rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding hills, villages, and the serene Bhogabhavi Lake. At the summit, there is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, which locals believe to be one of the 108 Jyotirlingas. Gudibande Fort Trek offers an easy and rewarding adventure just 90 km from Bangalore. - 100% Refund: Cancellations 30+ days before departure (excluding convenience/transaction fees).
- 50% Refund: Cancellations 15-29 days before departure.
- No Refund, Future Credit, or Transfer: Cancellations 14 days or less before departure.
goChaarana Cancellation Policy
- If goChaarana cancels a trek due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances, participants will receive a 100% refund or the option to reschedule to another trek of their choice.
Rescheduling Option
- You can reschedule your booking to a future trek without any additional cost, subject to availability. This option is available if you request the change at least three days before your original trek date.
Important Notes
- Refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days.
- Trek fees are non-transferable to another participant.
- No refund will be provided for a no-show or dropping out mid-trek.
